Hi all,
Not had much of a chance to update this site recently, got lots of work to do!
I’m nearly at the stage of going solo with my home business, so I’ve been constantly working on my Business Plan my business website. I’ve also been out and about a lot too… got to keep sane somehow! I’ve got a big decission to make for my business website. I normally like to do everything myself from scratch so I can understand how it works and feel like I’ve achieved something, but time is a big issue in the kind of work I do, so I’m really considering installing a Content Management System (CMS) for the website. I’m thinking of using DotNetNuke for a change, since ASP.NET is more my thing. I’ve also got to open the Facebook/Twitter/MySpace page for the business too.
As well as that, I’ve been setting up the business domain name, and doing battle with DNS servers, trying to get the email to work. The email server isn’t complaining any more, it looks like I’ve just got to wait 48 hours for it to take effect. I’m too impatient!
Anyway, I’m trying to have a quiet relaxing night now listening to some of my favourite music with no worries. Easier said than done. Hope everyone has a good week.

Bio: Currently living in the West End of Glasgow, I studied music for most of my life. Graduating with my music degree in 2005, I did a short course in Multimedia Communications in 2006, and continued to teach myself web design and programming. Success in 2007 saw me working as a web designer for Hilton Hotels, which was an amazing opportunity for both work and social activities. Doing work experience as a web developer in 2008 left me very unsure if I want to continue with that line of work. With the recent recession there are almost no suitable jobs around, so it's very hard. To that end, I've just decided to try and get any job I can, so I can get out and meet people. Interests include music, computing, politics and radio.
