Hi, welcome to the site.

Since I've started working at Strathclyde, I've not had much of a chance to update this site. As most of you know, being a website programmer, I get into the nitty gritty technical details of how the website is made from scratch, and I've solved a number of database issues this morning that have been preventing me from getting content on the site. I'm also currently working on a search engine for the site as you can see above.

The radio show is going really well, the past couple of weeks I've had listeners as far away as Israel and Ohio. Top tunes I'm into right now include Cerf & Mitiska featuring Jaren - Man on the Run (Dash Berlin Remix) and Sunlounger - Crawling (DJ Shah Remix) - both top tunes with chilling vocals. Don't forget to catch me at XperienceRadio.co.uk every Sunday night from 7.30.

These nights when I get home from work now I tend to do nothing but watch videos on YouTube till I fall asleep. Guess when you work hard during the day 9 - 5 you have to allow yourself some relax time.

Douglas is a Web Developer working in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland.

Coming originally from a music background, Douglas made the transaction to Web Development at the University of Paisley, and since then has continued to teach himself, hence improving his skills. Currently working at the University of Strathclyde as a Developer, Douglas has grown confident in the world of commercial web development, and hopes to continue to take part in such projects in the future. Douglas's coding is up to current W3C XHTML 1.0 standards and current W3C CSS standards.

Douglas is confident with a number of dynamic programming languages, including ASP.NET, VB.NET, Python, PHP, Javascript and XML. Database software Douglas uses are Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and MySQL. Douglas is familiar with current database programmability, including Stored Procedures.
